Each student stands in front of another student (pair: “mirror” of each other). A boundary/line is set between them so they don’t touch. Following the rhythm of the music as each student perceives it or following (without music) the internal personal rhythm, one begins to do what the other does: a series of movements and expressions). All students or more than one pair may be placed on either side of a single long line that may divide the classroom/room. The simultaneous ” mirroring ” and the simultaneous reproduction of movements and expressions create the feeling of a large urban living organism that moves and expresses itself within a certain framework of limits.
Duration of activity: 15-20′
Students express in a large circle how they felt or what they understood.
