Organisation

A part of the classroom is delimited, this part should be large enough for the participants to move freely.

Step by step:

1. All participants are placed inside this confined space, from which they cannot leave.
2. When the teacher tells them to do so, they must start walking through the space, always in a straight line.
3. If they reach one of the marked edges, they “bump” into it and continue in the opposite direction.
4. If they “bump” into one of their classmates they will exchange speeds.

Organisation

A part of the classroom is delimited, this part should be large enough for the participants to move freely.

Step by step:

1. All participants are placed inside this confined space, from which they cannot leave.
2. Each of them will represent a water molecule and will go through the three states of matter. (solid, liquid and gas)
3. They start by representing the solid state. To do this, they will form neat rows and each participant will grab the shoulder of the participant in the front row with one hand and with the other hand a participant from their row.
4. Once they are all united, they must generate a joint movement.
5. At any moment the teacher representing heat will touch the block of solid water (ice) and they will start to separate in rows (representing liquid water).
6. At any moment the teacher will once again touch each of the rows that will be moving through the space and they will separate from each other and will be able to move freely through the space.
