Topic 2 Sonification

Sonification is the process of using sound to represent and convey data or information, through the use of sound patterns, musical notes or other auditory cues. Sonification can be used to represent information in a way that makes it more accessible to people with visual impairments, or to offer additional sensory feedback for people with normal vision. Sonification can also be used as a creative teaching tool for exploring the relationships between sound and other types of information sensory experiences.
