Topic 2 Sensorial storytelling

Sensorial storytelling is the teaching approach that makes use of stories and sensory experiences to engage students and support their understanding of abstract concepts, such as internet privacy and their connection to real-word experiences.

Sensorial storytelling involves telling a story that appeals to the five senses (sound, sight, touch, taste and smell) and incorporating hands-on activities to help students become part of the story, and experience it in a meaningful way. Some key principles of Sensorial storytelling are as follows: personal relevance, emotion and imagination are key when designing lesson plans that incorporate sensorial storytelling.
