Topic 1 Introduction

The Caretta – Caretta tortoise is a rare and endangered species of tortoise. Her rescue is urgent. For this reason, in recent years it has been customary in the parts of the sandy coast where eggs are found to immediately evacuate these areas from human presence. The sound of the sea is the main element that guides newborns to their mother in the sea. However, a sharper sound (city sounds, human activity, etc.) can easily change their orientation and lead them to death. The path to the sound stimulus is always a straight line. To calculate the distance they have to travel from their point to the coastline, the students must understand the theorem of existence and the uniqueness of the perpendicular. The value of the sound source in saving this rare species students will empathize with the theatrical practice of the sound stimulus.
