  • Malware refers to malicious software designed to damage or steal information from computer systems, often used to gain unauthorized access to a device or network (e.g. viruses, trojans, worms).
  • Cyberbullying refers to harassing or intimidating someone, by spreading rumors online, posting hurtful comments, and sharing personal or embarrassing material of an individual.
  • Data breach refers to data stored in cloud providers being breached, making confidential information available to access and exposure by unauthorized entities, through hacking or phishing attacks.
  • Data sharing refers to companies and organizations sharing personal data (e.g. demographic information) with 3rd party entities, resulting in unauthorized use or disclosure of users’ personal information.
  • Privacy issues refer to the collection and use of personal information without the individual’s knowledge or consent, (e.g cookies, beacons)
